Meet the Artist
Hi! My name is Sandy Ramzy and I’m a Dubai-based ceramicist and artist. What started as an ADHD hyperfixation in 2020(ish) became a guttural desire to play with mud and make beautiful things. I’m still exploring what that means to me, but I’m finding that four or so years down the line, I’m still excited to learn more. Clay is a brutally honest medium; in it, I’ve learned how to be more intuitive, expand my idea of creativity, and unwavering patience- I feel, as a result, that I put a piece of myself- and my growth- into each piece I create; whether it ends up in the recycling bucket or comes out of a glaze firing perfectly.
